Unity Square is set to become the centre piece for the Southside area. People will be greeted by the new mixed-use scheme as they enter the city from The Hub, Nottingham’s transformed train station and transport interchange.
The new scheme, from Peel Holdings, will provide around 270,000 sq ft of grade A office space, a 240 room hotel and 20,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space. The development has recently been granted outline planning permission and is set to transform the gateway to the city.
With a newly created urban square, the scheme will become a focal point for the Southside area and will also provide excellent linkages to the other parts of the business district.
Nottingham One is an iconic mixed used development located on Canal Street, Nottingham. The mixed use scheme offers up to 54,000 sq ft of high quality, Grade A office space, part of which is already home to the leading software company, Crytek.
Nottingham One also features over 230 stylish city centre apartments which are further enhancing the community that is building up around the Southside Business District.
The Station Street scheme is located adjacent to the Hub and NET Tram Terminus on the main pedestrian through route to the City Centre and with frontage to Station Street , Carrington Street and the Canal the scheme will comprise up to 270,000 sq ft of mixed office , hotel , leisure and retail development at the very heart of the Southside Business District.
In addition to the Hub , immediate neighbours include Nottingham City Council at Loxley House , Capital One and Jury’s Inn. The soon to be redeveloped Broadmarsh shopping centre is under 2 minutes walk giving access to the City Centre and beyond.
The scheme being developed by Bildurn, whose track record in Nottingham includes the iconic Pod and Lace Market Square schemes, will link Southside with the City Centre at the cutting edge of this exciting new Business District.
The Sentinel is set to dominate Nottingham’s skyline on the south western gateway to the city. Eight storeys high, it offers 100,000ft of cutting edge, grade A office accommodation in the very centre of the East Midland’s capital.
Sentinel is the product of meticulous planning and painstaking attention to detail. The kind that only springs from a complete understanding of how critical the working environment is to the wellbeing and effectiveness of those who work in it. Flexibly designed floorplates enable the space to be open plan or cellularised.
There’s thought for the environment, with the building being served by the District Heating System which increases the energy rating of the building. And thought for the occupants too, who can look forward to a bright, naturally cooled working environment and space for 74 vehicles in a secure basement car park beneath their feet.
The development by Wilson Bowdenwill play a large part in creating the perfect business environment in the Southside Business District.
